At the request of Greater China Holdings Limited (the "Company"),
trading in its shares has been suspended with effect from 9:30 a.m. today
(30/8/2005) pending the announcement in relation to the entering into of a 
legally binding memorandum of understanding, which constitutes price 
sensitive information of the Company.
